Poll: Do You Find Webinars Helpful?
23 April 2015
Digital marketing metrics were the focal point of last month’s poll question. When creating the question, we considered all forms of digital and social marketing, leading to these four answer choices (with their correlating digital marketing mediums noted):
- Clicks/Opens (email or web ads)
- Likes, Shares, etc. (social)
- Audience Reach (social or web ads)
- Leads with Contact Info
Through this poll, it’s clear that our audience sees leads as a strong indicator of a successful campaign. “Hot Leads” provide leads with contact information for potential customers while your email campaign is under way. Hot Leads can be used for all forms of customer follow-up, including phone, fax, direct mail, and email so that you can reach out them while they’re still, well, hot!
Now, that doesn’t mean that leads are the only successful way to track marketing efforts. Impressions and reach build awareness and give exposure to targeted audiences. Clicks and opens, as well as likes and shares, show engagement and interest, which can certainly build awareness and can lead directly to sales. In the end, integrated digital campaigns that cover all of these metrics have proved to work most successfully.
